The machinery for the processing of rubber which is nowadays available on the market has no devices to save energy; so far, all effort has been made to improve production and lower the price of the device.

So the energy efficiency of these machines is quite low. We have developed a radical change of our presses internally, using special insulating materials, which, moreover, are resistant to high pressure. Such changes have been made on 60% of our presses.

This kind of work is rather difficult, because it is very expensive and, moreover, it is also very difficult to operate on machines already built by others.^*
